Ever Coffee & Flower, Hangzhou

no, they're not putting flowers in your coffee

Disclaimer: I am not paid to write this, I bought the drink with my own money. Nobody sponsored this post but hey, if you wanna sponsor me, hit me up!

Finally after 2039 years of not posting, I am finally posting something. Don't @ me, I am already out of content.

Today I am going to introduce a coffee shop called Ever Coffee & Flower. The concept of this shop is that it's a cafe that also has a flower shop. Wow such eloquence, much explanation. Can you believe that I've been blogging since I was in 8th grade and now I am turning 22 this year?

So.

It is a cafe that also provides services to arrange a bouquet for gifts, congratulatory flowers, and all that jazz. It is not the first cafe that doing this Coffee + Flower shop concept that I know of. I went to a cafe named Mogu Station that has similar concept but that's a cafe for another time.

This cafe only sells drinks and, like I said, flowers. The prices of their coffee ranges from 35RMB - 38RMB which is pretty standard for "pretty" coffee shops in Hangzhou. They also sell other drinks that aren't coffee such as tea and soda drinks. The price of their other drinks are actually cheaper than their coffees.

When it comes to coffee beans, they're pretty specialized too. They have a list of coffee beans that they usually use in their coffee drinks (it varies from day to day) along with some details that explains where the coffee came from, the "notes" of the coffee beans, the scent, the taste, the aftertaste, etc.

The coffee shop area is pretty big and it has has a chic, trendy, aesthetic interior/decor. So, yes, this place is quite instagram-able.

Cold brew latte

So, I ordered their Cold Brew Latte (冷翠拿铁) which consists of a glass of ice, milk, a shot of today's brew, and a glass of sugar. The yellowish liquid is the sugar and I don't really drink coffee with sugar so that glass of sugar was untouched even until I finished my coffee.

冷翠拿铁

Their Cold Brew Latte was pretty good. The owner actually explained their brew of the day but I didn't quite catch the whole explanation about the coffee beans (whoops). Their brew of the day wasn't bitter but, it left a rather earthy aftertaste. It was a good cup of latte although the milk is a bit too much for me.

I mean, I don't mind the taste of milk but it would be nice if I can have more coffee with the same amount of milk. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The coffee was nice and the atmosphere was nice. I think this cafe is more of a hangout cafe than a cafe you can stay in and do your work because the tables are quite small and I didn't see any place to plug in your laptop's charger.

7.5/10!

The owner of the cafe brought their cat here so.. If you're allergic or not super fond of cats, you might want to re-think your choice hanging out here. The cat mostly stay in its cage though and the cat doesn't really care about their surrounding unless you approach them first. The cat is super friendly, such a sweet, sweet kitty.

hehe i made a new friend

pretty kitty!

So. This is how the coffee shop looks from outside. I am sorry for the super ugly shot of the outside of the coffee shop. When I arrived it was too bright to take a picture of its outside and it rained pretty hard when I was finishing my coffee so when the sky cleared up, I immediately ran out of the coffee shop because I didn't have my umbrella with me.

I know that from this picture you can't tell that it rained pretty hard like twenty minutes before but believe me, the sky was dark for a good ten minutes and it rained hard before it tapered down into light shower then suddenly, the sky was clear and the sun was out.
