I still like satay. Me changing the title of this blog from satay to ketupat has nothing to do with my food preferences. I just think that ketupat sounds more Indonesian than satay and I hate lontong.
Hi, hi everyone!! I am stranded-in-china from tumblr! I moved my tumblr to blogspot because I finally able to access blogspot and I think blogspot is just more efficient than tumblr. So, I think I am going to talk about where this blog is going and how I promise I will try to update more often.
So.
Yeah..
You guys can call me Audrey, I am a student in Zhejiang University, Hangzhou. I'm majoring in International Economic and Trade. I know that my major sounds cool but it's actually pretty basic. Almost ALL. OF. INTERNATIONAL. STUDENTS. In Zhejiang University are majoring in International Economic and Trade. Honestly, I personally think that my major isn't as cool as other majors from Faculty of Economy like Finance, Economics, 财务管理, 财政管理 , etc.
Anyways.
So yeah. I am majoring in International Economic and Trade (国际经济与贸易 or for short 国贸). I am a third year student and this year is actually my fourth year in China. Wow. Can you imagine that. My Chinese still sucks but people around me said that I am pretty good. Sometimes I think they're saying that to be nice.
I'm Indonesian so, English and Chinese aren't my native languages. This blog will tell you about the shenanigans that happen to me in China. I have lots of embarrassing stories, trust me.
I also willing to help people out if they have a general question about studying in China; you can ask me in two languages, Indonesian or English. And if you are interested to go to Hangzhou (Zhejiang University, especially), you can ask me too? I'll try to answer everything. You can drop a comment here or directly send an email to strandedinchina@outlook.com. I will try to answer everything.
I am also thinking to make an instagram account for this blog but that's something that I will have to think about later.
I have lots of plans for this blog and I will try to do everything so.. stay tuned.
